Yokahu groups hurricanes into 5 categories:

The categories indicate how much damage a storm could do, with Intense the lowest and Extreme the highest. We use the central pressure of the storm in the National Hurricane Centre Advisories to determine this.

Category Air Pressure
INTENSE 976 - 990 millibars
VERY INTENSE 961 - 975 millibars
HIGH 946 - 960 millibars
VERY HIGH 926 - 945 millibars
EXTREME below 925 millibars

Our policies are tailored so that you can buy the cover that suits your own needs. We will cover you for any number of hurricane events in a 12 month period, up to the annual policy limit.

Below are two illustrative examples of different policies we might offer you, though please note that premium and cover amounts may vary.

To see the best cover options for you, select the flag of your home country.
